So you’ve set your goals but not making much progress on them. You know what you want to get accomplished and even set completion dates but you still haven’t gotten started or you’ve stopped completely. While these steps are necessary, you must know why this goal is important to you. Gather all the reasons that you desire your outcome or goal. Your reason for wanting this outcome must be so compelling that nothing will deter you from achieving it. This gives you purpose which in turn gives you drive and motivation to pursue your goals. How many times have you set a goal to only get distracted and lose motivation midstream? I’m not sure about you but this has happened to me on many occasions! The key is to find your purpose and write down as many details as you can because when challenges and obstacles come, you’ll be able to easily identify why you are on this path. Make sure you keep this somewhere that is easily accessible, so you can remain anchored to your WHY!
